In my last post I shared with you that these would be painted with the Amy Howard paint. First I painted 2 coats of the gray paint.
The lighting in the shed is terrible. But if you live around here, you will be able to see them tomorrow at Chic & Shabby in downtown Franklin.
Speaking of Chic & Shabby, I have an announcement. We will be carrying a new line of chalk paint at the store. You will not have to go out of town for your paint! It should be in the store by Saturday, October 10th. Our first chalk paint workshop will be held at Chic & Shabby Thursday, October 16th at 6:00 – 9:00. We will be serving refreshments too. Limit 10 people. The cost of the workshop will be 75.00. You will only be required to bring a small piece to work on. Not a piece of furniture or you will not get finished. Something small like a picture frame, a lamp, a wooden box, etc. We will provide the paint, wax, sand paper for distressing and paintbrush and any other supplies you will need.
If you want to sign up, go to Chic & Shabby and pick up registration form. Forms should be turned in with your payment by Friday, October 3rd to insure your spot at the workshop. I will be presenting the workshop and can’t wait to introduce you to our new line of paint and how to use it.
