Heirloom Traditions Synergy

    Color of the day!
I found this cute little chest in Round Top, Texas.
I can imagined her in Tiffany Blue.
So I settled on Synergy for the job.
    It’s a beautiful aqua blue.
Here she is before waiting to be transformed……
This is what it looked like after the first coat.

While the first coat was drying I decided to try 3 different waxes on the Synergy to see which one I wanted to use.
The first was I used was Dark Umber.  It gave the Synergy a whole different look.  I love it.  It’s like a teal color with the dark umber. Will definitely be using this combo for a different project.
The second one is the Muddy Pond wax.  It looks like an antiqued teal.  It was pretty too.  I know it’s probably hard to tell from this photo.
The third area I waxed with our clear wax and that was the ticket.

And here she is………Just the Tiffany Blue I wanted.
    She measures 37 1/2″ wide x 18 3/4″ deep x 27″ high
I just happen to have this cute mirror to go with it.
Leave a message on my facebook page if you have any questions.
Thanks for stopping by.  What are you painting next?
