While on vacation in Orange Beach, Alabama I took a day to shop for my flea market booth and workshops over at Inspired to Restore which is located in Chic & Shabby, downtown Franklin. I also had my trusty sidekick Kathy with me.
First we went over to Habitat for Humanity which I blogged about here. I found some really cool things there. Then we went to Miles Antique Mall. It is Florida’s largest antique mall and if you go make sure you have plenty of time to look around. There is so much to see. It’ like one of my favorite places to go. Here are just of few of the many visuals you will take in when you are browsing around.
It’s located at 5109 Bayou Blvd., Pensacola, FL 32503, phone number is 850-525-4847, email is williamecampbell@live.com
If you’ve never been before and you plan on going tell this really cool blogger sent you!
Right when you walk in there a booth that has the coolest handmade art. This is just one of her many creations. I just love it!
When I’m walking around this Antique Mall I am like a kid in a candy store. There is so much inspiration everywhere! My ADD really kicks in here and poor Kathy, I’m like – look at this, oh no look at this.
This booth reminds me so much of Round Top. I can’t wait to go back in September 🙂
I love the burlap on the walls and the chalkboards and the stained furniture mixed with the painted furniture.
There are local artists of course.
Look at theses pieces, they look like they’ve been waxed with Muddy Pond or Dar umber wax.
How cute is this. You can use our Clear liquid patina as a transfer medium to achieve this look.
Beautiful jewelry display. Layers people.
This trip inspired me so much, I will be doing a series on Starting your own flea market booth. So make sure you keep checking back if you want to learn more. Also remember to add your email at the top of the page to get these blog posts sent directly to you via email so that you don’t miss out on anything we post.
