Restoring a dresser using Heirloom Traditions French Vanilla
When I saw this cute thing she was crying out for a new paint job.
I found this cottage style dresser at one of the many booths in Round Top at the last Antique show.
It had a nice paint job on it but after being in the weather at the show, it needed some sprucing up. So I decided to use my favorite paint on it, Heirloom Traditions. I chose French Vanilla because it goes well with cottage style furniture.
It’s not a huge dresser so it would go well in a baby or child’s room or even a smaller bedroom. It does not take up a lot of space but has 4 drawers for storage.
You will love Heirloom Traditions chalk type paint. No sanding, no priming. It’s so easy and it goes on like butter!
Here is the wax I used. I decided to go with the clear wax because I just wanted the French Vanilla to be the star of this show.
Here she is after 2 coats of French Vanilla and 1 coat of clear wax.
Why buy expensive new furniture when you can find used pieces in great condition. You can make them look new with Heirloom Traditions Paints. You can find this dresser at Chic & Shabby, downtown Franklin.
