Dry Brushing Before and After

This is my latest custom job and I just wanted to share the finish with you because I am loving how it has turned out!

I always use Heirloom Traditions products on my custom paint jobs.  I carry the line in my booth at Chic & Shabby downtown Franklin.  If you can’t get to the store, you can order online at Heirloom Traditions Paint Company.  For 10% off of your order use the coupon code RESTORE when you checkout.  You will get 10% off your order and I will get credit for it.

First off my client sent these first three pictures.  The job is to paint a bed going into her guest room.  First pic is of the floors in the room.

Second pic is the wall color.  She told me that the other furniture going into the room is already painted black.  She wanted a layered slightly distressed finish that would go well with the flooring, the wall color and black furniture.

    This is after.

I dry brushed, Repose, Mocha and Irish Cream and Black bean.  After the last coat was dry, I then did a wash with the Black Bean and water.  I sealed it  with the Crystal Clear Patina. You can find all of these colors and finishes in my booth at Chic & Shabby.  Or you can order online at Heirloom Traditions Paint.  Make sure you enter the coupon code RESTORE when you check out to get 10% off your order!
