I left off in my last blog post showing you the condition of the building when we first got the keys.
We hired a cleaning crew and got to work. After they were done we got a painter to come in. He taped everything off and sprayed the white paint on the ceilings walls and top shelves.
After painting was done we then tried to figure out how we were going to organize the store.
Moving Day was so exciting, but needless to say we were all exhausted. We could not have done this in one day if it wasn’t for Kathy’s husband Danny and her son Aaron.
After everything was in we toasted to our new business and called it a day.
First thing I did was organize my Heirloom Traditions Paints and Finishes.
Kathy got some friends to come in and help her place everything.
Then we got our track lighting. Wow what a difference that made!
After that I set up my Debbie Tibbs Photography booth.
Then Aaron helped me create this amazing Paint Bar sign.
We are a team of four vendors. Myself, my business parter Kathy Latiolais, Toni Young and Holly Robicheaux.
We are so in love with this space.
I’ve even had my first paint workshop! We’ve decorated our windows.
My dad pitched in and put up our window decals.
Aaron hung our sign. We love it!
I’ve even met another creative entrepreneur from New Iberia who we will be working with soon.
I will be announcing what that’s about this week! So make sure to like our Facebook pages, Inspired To Restore and The French Door, Franklin so you can stay in the know 🙂
Thank you for following along as one of my dreams come true.
The website for The French Door is www.thefrenchdoor.biz
Please let me know if you have a dream buried in your heart and if there is any way I can help you make it come true!
