September has come and gone and it has been a blast.
Kathy and I started the French Door together. It’s nice to have a partner! Here she is getting Pokeno gifts together.
We love all of our customers!
This was the day we got our lights over the register area installed.
This is what the store looked like before we added the vinyl decals and our new sign.
I love my photography booth. We created a transom with an old piece of glass we found here at the store. The old doors came from Round Top.
Every month we will be highlighting a local artist. Caroline Simoneaux was our first artist for September.
Look how cute our coffee bar is……
Our grand babies have been in to visit. Here is Miss Maggie, Kathy’s granddaughter.
This is Michael Jr, Kathy’s grandson and one of my granddaughters Rylee Claire. My big announcement from last month is that I’ve partnered up with a local girl from New Iberia, Andree McAnally who has created her own line of chalk type paints, Queen City Paint Company. I love the product and each paint color has a Louisiana name.
Don’t worry, I will continue to carry Heirloom Traditions too!
We have plenty of choices for your paint projects.
This is Toni in her gourmet foods booth. She scours farmer’s markets and also order delicious items for entertaining or just to use for yourself. She specializes in Gourmet gift baskets and is taking orders for Christmas!
She also has tastings of her various products from time to time.
Here’s Holly our Vintage Queen. She hits up flea markets and estate sales to find the most interesting pieces.
My daughter Avery has started her own vinyl decal service. Tibbs Typography. She takes orders here at the store too!
Our beautiful register area.
We’ve even had a few paint classes already.
We had our Grand Opening September 15th. It was a great evening. Thanks to all who came out to support us! If you are ever downtown, please stop in to say Hello and browse around. We would love to visit with you.
Talk to you soon,
Debbie
